Sitting Assessment for Children with Neuromotor Dysfunction (SACND)

The SACND is an observational measure which can document the quality of sitting of children with neuromotor disabilities. It is divided into a Rest Module and a Reach Module. Four behaviours are assessed in each module: a) Postural Tone b) Postural alignment c) Postural alignment d) balance

Takes 5mins for each module (rest and reach) however allow 1-1.5hrs for setting up equipment, establishing client rapport and analysing the data. NB: requires use of a videocamera. all the materials include:
